Built at the height of the Scottish Enlightenment period in 1720, our home hosted lively discussions from some of the most respected creative, philosophical and scientific minds of the time.

The flavours can vary greatly and some gins can often cross over to other gin styles, for example where sugars have been added to created an Old Tom style gin or maceration with fruit to create a Flavoured Gin. We pride ourselves on responsibly sourcing the finest ingredients to ensure we produce spirits of the most outstanding quality. Botanicals hand-picked by our Master of Gin are a compliment of juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root and citrus peel, built around a core of heather and pink peppercorns. Nestled in the lowlands of Aberdeenshire, the House of Elrick Estate is a family home which has only passed hands five times in 300 years.Our liquid is distilled by hand in batches of 600 bottles per run, which means we can maintain control over every bottle that leaves our distillery.

Surrounded by woodland, gardens, and even an award winning gin distillery in the grounds, where you can really drink in the essence of this magical place! House of Elrick Gin is like no other, made using the finest botanicals, hinting towards the essence of our home in Scotland that includes Heather Pearls, Rose Petals and water from the oldest and deepest source of Loch Ness. All of the water used in this artisan gin is sourced from Loch Ness - I'd imagine wee Nessie is fond of a drop! Eventually the estate will house a new cafe and bar along with a second distillery that will sit within the newly landscaped walled garden.Serve House of Elrick Gin over a generous helping of ice, topped with a premium light tonic and garnish with a twist of orange. Distilled Gin is sometimes referred to as Contemporary, New American, New Western or International style gin. The water used in this beautifully crafted gin comes from the Loch Ness, it is the only spirit which is made with this water resulting in a fresh, earthy and bold infusion of flavours. We have cultivated a deliberate foresight with our brand supporters values driving our adaptability.
