About this deal
I have to admit, I bought it for nostalgia to see if I still like it as much as I did when it was my signature as a young teen. I’ve actually been thinking about adding it to my collection again because I miss it and have been thinking about it a lot.
It honestly smells like 2004 😆When I do wear it I go very light with it and usually use it after a shower to have a fresh "clean" scent. It has this feminine sharpness that I love - I have recently found that in Burberry London which reminded me of this perfume. Curious was one of the most beautiful perfumes, but I’ve made two recent attempts to get new bottles and they weren’t the same formula. I'm going to get another bottle of Curious, after 10+ years of not having it, and cross my fingers that it hasn't been reformulated, as some reviewers say it has, or that, if it has, it still smells predominantly as good as it did before!Overall I get a powdery, dewy, sweet magnolia-pear scent with a faint shampoo vibe in the background.
The first spray for me was just pure alcohol, which quickly evolved into a heady, musky jasmine and lingered all day. I remember the commercial coming out when I was young but did not start wearing it until recently when I finally got "into" perfumes.Overall, Curious boasts a profile that is attractive in its simplicity, and as a result fairly difficult to dislike. I'm sure there's a world of equally wonderful and well-performing cheapies out there, but I'm content with this one. Sadly they have long since dropped the pink bottle charms and the atomiser is plastic as mentioned in other reviews, but the juice inside is still lush. This is timeless and pretty and performs decently well, I think many people from a vide variety of scent profiles can like / respect this perfume.
