About this deal

Bad points: Had one issue with suspect alkaline batteries causing false time triggering so upon advice from Wildview opted for lithium ones. So out of 20-30 shots of a bumblebee, I’m looking for 2 maybe 3 that are decent enough to ID the species. Because we're Europe's experts and we work with the products we offer on a daily basis, we know them better than anybody. When I recover cards from several cams that have been out in the field for 4-5 weeks, I’m usually looking at hundreds of images (many false triggers certainly), the folder view/preview method has been very effective in culling my vids efficiently.

Have you tried using the test mode (see my earlier response on this thread) to verify that it’s working (or, alternatively, to reproduce the problem at home)?

The Recon Force 4K EDGE camera features true 4K UHD video recording at thirty frames per second (30 fps). This Camera is 12 volt so whilst night videos may be limited to 20 secs, if there is still motion the camera will recover and start recording again in under one second, this preserves battery power, memory capacity and the LED's. I will need a camera that fails in this way and more investigation to understand why this might be happening. The Recon Force Edge 4k also features a forward facing 2" colour playback screen so you can accurately set this Browning trail camera up by seeing what the camera sees.

But for both of these positives, Browning has also removed the heat sink from the SOC, which could increase the amount of heat flowing through the PCB.In addition to features described in earlier posts: Adding Features to Browning Elite HP5 Firmware and New Optional Features for Browning HP5 Trail Cameras, now supported on six camera models, I have added two new additional menu-selectable features with the release.

Detection varies (as with all cameras with a PIR sensor) based on batteries, settings, positioning and temperature but you can expect up to 90ft for a human-sized animal or deer etc.In addition to batteries and a memory card, there is a variety of other accessories available for this cameramodel. either preview images in the field or aim the camera so that it captures everything you want to see. This is the 2nd BTC-7E now that I’ve had these “dark” videos show up on: eyeshine from an animal triggering the camera, but no illumination. The motion-sensing potential of this particular model extends up to a maximum of 80 feet, and perhaps most impressive of all is the fact that it is not just a one-off trigger, but rather a system that is monitored in an intelligent way. Its 20 megapixel stills and 1080p video capture capabilities ensure that all of the important boxes are ticked, while its unfussy design and night vision potential, in combination with its motion-sensing prowess, round out the feature set well.

This should enable it to detect an animal crossing the frame (left to right, or right to left) when it is closer to the left or right of the frame. Browning say that you can watch their 1080p footage back on a 60 inch TV and not lose clarity – and we can see what they mean.

Since I believe the cameras are being detected by our target species in the natural environment, I would like to minimize the profile of these cameras by actually dismantling them and only have the PIR detector (and fresnel lens) and also the camera lens mounted on the tree. Another great feature is the built in 2” color display to preview images and videos right in the field. This allows you to scroll through the vids and see a “preview” of the video, which in the past always included a view of the critter (or shadow, grass, etc. In het geval dat wij u uitnodigen om een review achter te laten delen wij uw naam en e-mailadres met WebwinkelKeur.
