This officially licensed Nightcrawler figure comes with 3 accessories for dynamic poseability, including 2 alternate hands and an alternate head. The good news is that the tail does at least swivel at the base, allowing you to get it into a variety of places and not mess up the pose you want to stick Nightcrawler in. The tail may not be bendable like the original, but what the tail lacks in articulation, the figure makes up for it with its beautiful sculpt, wonderful articulation, extra heads and lovely rapier sword accessory. X-Cutioner, Goblin Queen and that iconic version of Magneto (although not necessarily good iconic) are awesome enough, but throw in the Jean Grey, Cyclops and Nightcrawler, and I am ALL IN for this wave. Nightcrawler comes in the regular Marvel Legends box which didn’t even make it home with me because I had to open this figure up ASAP and try and streamline what I’m carrying around the show floor with me as much as possible at SDCC.

The Marvel Legends Series Nightcrawler figure features premium animation-accurate deco and design, and over 20 points of articulation.Butterfly shoulders and swivel calves wouldn’t have worked because of the costume, and I’m overall very satisfied with the flexibility.

Finally, we’ve got a figure whose success will really depend on the release of the new animated series, in my opinion.The remainder of the set brings us updated versions of four top-tier X-Men characters that I think fans are going to be all over. Nightcrawler is my absolute favorite X-Men character and this figure completely lives up to my admittedly lofty expectations. Like Wolverine in the first wave, this seems like it will set the bar for a definitive Jim Lee Cyclops figure for years to come. For the BAMF effect i just used some purple cotton ball-things i got for 97 cents in the craft section at Walmart. Look for other Hasbro Marvel Legends Series figures (each sold separately) with comic- and movie-inspired characters from the Marvel universe! The tail is pre-posed in a snaking fashion, so no bendy plastic here, however it’s sculpted in a way that really makes use of the swivel at the base, allowing for some varied poses. Kurt’s V-shaped vest is painted on below the chest, but sculpted above it and it flares out from the shoulders.

I Love everything about the Night Crawler Action figure and I highly recommend it to other Collectors.

There’s a swivel in the waist, an ab-crunch hinge under the chest, and his neck is both hinged and ball jointed.
