About this deal

Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Never actually liked him, all of her generosity towards him was just to fuel a fake friendship, that she would shatter as part of her much expected film.

Because You Were Nice to Me: Mellows out considerably towards Machiya when he sets out to help her in the Betsuki episode. Morality Pet: His family is the last thing that keeps him in control of his more sociopathic tendencies. The loss of his father and sister finally drive him over the edge. Miwa becomes this for him after the death of his family. Especially tiresome is the weak execution, with barely any build-up of suspense: you'll get a situation, and in the next chapter they'll suddenly go "BANG! rape and killing! problem solved! Neeeext!"There's also a number of plotholes (why didn't cameraboy get the explanation about DT any earlier? why doesn't anyone wear a mask while being filmed in the process of killing or raping someone?) that got on my nerves.Break the Believer: The core of Machiya's plan to defeat Justice Man by showing him how many of the things he believed in were nothing but lies or flimsy constructs. His fans only cared about him as long as he was winning; as soon as it looked like he might lose the fight (which would cause them to lose their bet) they turned on him, calling him weak and pathetic for being unable to defeat a girl. However things weren’t as they seemed to be, Oushima reveals herself to be someone obsessed with making the perfect picture, for her it was a tale of a boy who foolishly became attached and in love with an upper class girl, that girl would nourish that false perception to one day have that boy killed after being emotionally destroyed when he finds out the truth, Machiya and herself are the leads in her film. Terror Hero: Calling her a "hero" in any context is pushing it, but a key part of Mashiro's success as a fighter is her innate ability to inspire sheer dread into the hearts of her enemies. Throwing off their gaurd long enough for her to land a killing blow. really enjoys reading graphic manga, Dead Tube really shines upon itself on it's artwork, thanks to Kitakawa Touta, but my main concern is how hard it tries to be to, "become the most edgiest manga" in the story line. I won't be spoiling anything that happens after chapter one but I will hint out that everything past chapter one is a disappointment. The format of the story is just fantastic, showing how crazy humans can be just for fame and fortune, and will do anything for it, but it will bring you down that it just kind repeats itself for the next several chapters. All they want and do is sex and murder, giving you a vibe that it just repeats itself consistently. After chapter 15, it just becomes ridiculous and uninteresting, trying to keep itself up with being edgy. In my opinion, you don't connect with the story and just basically stay for the artwork provided. One thing that really grinds my gears is the characters. Single Woman Seeks Good Man: How she feels about the Diligent Manager after her failed seduction attempt. She's completely overwhelmed by his refusal to break from his principles, refusing to lust after her even as she and Matsumura are literally having sex with him. Afterwards, he chastises the two of them with an hour long lecture, saying that they should value themselves more as people. She's never met someone who has treated her with such respect and kindness without an ulterior motive (such as sex or money) before. As much as she outwardly denies it, she genuinely believes he is a good man, going so far as to convince Machiya and Mashiro to cancel their plan to kill him. Shame that the Justice Man team ends up defaming and killing him using a nearly identical plan.

Yandere: Due to him being the first person she met who shares her perverse interest in death and violence, Mashiro has developed a psychotic obsession with Machiya while asserting that he is for her and her alone. When faced with a potential romantic rival like Miwa, Mashiro usually defaults to acts of intimidation or outright assualt if pushed. Put on a Bus: After the events of the DEAD Tube Neo arc, she leaves the Film Research Club and transfers schools, specifically so she wouldn't be pulled into DEAD Tube again. Bad notes aside, I've been mentioning this a lot in the review but the artwork is just tremendous. The way the facial expressions are, the movements and the gore really gives you a great feeling about the story. It may look normal and typical the first few frames but focus a lot on the characters faces and it's somewhat realistic.Idiot Hero: Considers himself to be the world’s #1 hero, but he generally isn’t too bright. His sister often takes advantage of this for her own means. The first member of the Pro DEAD Tuber group "Team Kirenza" that Machiya's group encounters when trying to infiltrate Kana's school. Matsumura is a part-time student who moonlights as a katana-weilding DEAD Tuber to pay for her tuition. After narrowly surviving Mashiro's wrath during the Breaking Kana arc, she gradually begins to take up a more recurring role in the plot during the rise of DEAD Tube NEO. Le manga Dead Tube se partage chez Delcourt/Tonkam". Manga News (in French) . Retrieved February 11, 2017. Ascended Extra: She started off as a minor antagonist who got throughly humiliated by Mashiro before becoming a major recurring character in the later story arcs. Loser Protagonist: Not remarkably attractive or intelligent, seemingly viewed by everyone around him as just a tool; even Mashiro (who supposedly truly likes him) is basically just taking advantage of his dark desires.

The most active Crazy Rascal is Nishijima Hideo’s twin brother, he reveals himself to be a hardcore fan of horror films, making this DEAD Tube game his playground to enact his horror film fantasies, Nishijima dwells on the fact he always was the more talented twin but hated the fact his brother didn’t put any effort in anything, being average wasn’t the problem, it was being a leech that never tried anything was what pissed Nishijima off, it reached the point where his brother took loans from Loan Sharks using Nishijima’s identity, Nishijima killed many during the game, including his twin brother at the very beginning. Character Death: Via Explosive Leash created by Machiya. Technically considered a suicide, as he was filmed placing it on himself of his own free will. how cheesy it sounds i decided to venture in the unknown expecting little, But right of the bat i was intrigued by the simple plot it gives. Not only is it easy to grasp but it leaves quite a few mysteries that makes you get hooked to a extent as well as crazy Cliffhangers. Right now i cannot wait till the next chapter comes outTransfer Teacher who takes up Machiya’s class, she is a sweet woman who tries her best to be friendly with her students and immediately starts to do so in her new class, another immediate thing is her appointment as target for DEAD Tube; Machiya witnessed how much of a good person Betsuki is and feels compelled to warm her of these events, for his surprise Betsuki is well aware of what DEAD Tube is and that she will put up anything her beloved students make her go through, trusting there is good in their hearts. Four Eyes, Zero Soul: She wears glasses in her civilian attire and is just as much of an amoral sadist as the rest of DEAD Tube's participants. Simply put, Dead Tubeis a manga series about people who film things, put the videos on Youtube DeadTube, and compete to see who gets the most views. And our hopeless main character, who is a high school student but also an expert cameraman, gets roped into participating. And through his eyes and camera, we get to see the utterly depraved shit people in this story will do to get more views.

A Day in the Limelight: She becomes the primary protagonist of the House arc, with the plot revolving around her efforts to deduce which of her fellow participants is a traitor. While she skips the more traditional aspects of this trope (constantly hanging off of Machiya's arm, scolding him for interacting with other girls in any way), she still expresses her discontent whenever she thinks another girl is starting to get especially close to him. In most cases, this is limited to her giving them a glimpse of her "game face". This was all part of Machiya’s plan; to have Furui experience all of the joys of life in an effort to rekindle his will to live... before killing himself anyway. At first Furui seemed to have seen through the plan, forcing himself to return to his nihilistic views and placing the explosive collar on to end it all. But Mizuno’s last display of sobbing over his impending death caused him to flip again, saying he wanted to live. The final video captures what Machiya envisioned all along: the suicide of someone who wanted to live. Nightmare Fetishist: He gets turned on by the violent actions he films. After the "Breaking Kana" arc he doesn't seem to have any sexual interest in his Dead Tube films. Its later implied he may masturbating to the videos of his sister being brutalized. Red Herring: Numerous participants are accused of being the killer. There are multiple Rascal suits, and a total of three people are caught wearing one: Noumi, Mashiro and Nishijima. In the end, none of these are the true Crazy Rascal.
