About this deal

A separate modem or gateway may be required. PPPoE, Static IP, and Dynamic IP are supported. PPTP and L2TP may also be supported under certain configurations. The Archer AXE75 is the first Wi-Fi 6E router with a reasonable price, and nothing currently comes close to its affordability. Breaking into this relatively young market with modest specs for a fair price makes this the top choice and the router to beat on value. Rival brands will no doubt be clamoring to offer their takes, but your options for Wi-Fi 6E alternatives are slim so far. Fronthaul is the Wi-Fi signals broadcast outward for clients or the network ports for wired devices. It’s what we generally expect from a Wi-Fi broadcaster. I left my house and walked 60 feet down the street before the AXE75's Wi-Fi signal finally dropped.

I will disappoint, though, and say that I have no intentions of wiring my house. It was built in the 1950’s and is not already wired, but is also half-crawl/half-slab, and I just don’t really have the need to do so, as it’s just my wife and I here with super normal internet requirements.Don't be surprised if visitors mistake this Deco for a smart speaker and start barking commands at it. Each Deco XE75 router is a relatively compact tube measuring 4.1-inch (105 mm) wide and 6.7-inch (169 mm) tall. It looks like a smart speaker. Testing the TP-Link Deco Tri Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E system was easy. We have tested many Wi-Fi systems and found setting up those systems could be overwhelming to some people, especially if you're not tech savvy or comfortable working with smart devices, routers and modems. However, TP-Link does a nice job of walking you through the setup process in the Deco app. You will not have to access your existing modems system settings or try to troubleshoot any issues. Just follow the Deco app instructions and you'll be up and running in no time. There are no multi-Gig LAN ports here, and the total AX5400 line rate isn't as fast as various Wi-Fi 6 offerings from TP-Link, but the AXE75 performed admirably enough. Since I don't have a Gigabit ISP connection, I'll never get close to most maximum throughput speeds, making this router perfect for someone like me instead of a super-powered Wi-Fi 5/6 alternative that I can't fully use. You must use the Deco mobile app for the setup process. And during this time, the phone (or tablet) must connect to the Internet via a cellular connection or an existing Wi-Fi.

One of the best parts about TP-Link's Deco range is the accompanying Deco app, available on Android and iOS devices, making it super simple to set up the mesh system. It's as easy as following the instructions on-screen, barely needing to ever glance at the paper manual in the box. With my ISP-provided combination modem/router set to modem-only mode, I can connect to any router of my choosing via its high-speed WAN port. All units in the Deco XE75 sets have three Gigabit LAN/WAN ports, so you can plug into whichever is most convenient, and the Deco will communicate with the app. De installatie is eenvoudiger dan ooit– de Deco app leidt je stap-voor-stap door het installatieproces It's perfect for connecting anything reliant on high-speed Ethernet without needing cumbersome extension cables.

Extra bands don't solve everything.

The Deco XE75 promises an easy setup for speedy data transfer over a long range, and it does all that in spades. Joining the Deco family with the fantastic app makes it an approachable avenue to next-generation Wi-Fi tech that anyone could use. To avoid wireless disconnect issue during firmware upgrade process, it's recommended to upload firmware with wired connection unless there is no LAN/Ethernet port on your TP-Link device.

Several new features are introduced in the Bluetooth Core Specification 5.0 and 5.3Release, including 2× faster speed and 4× broader coverage compared with Bluetooth 4. Use of Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and other features including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM, and BSS Color require clients to also support the corresponding features. The 160 MHz bandwidth may be unavailable in the 5 GHz band in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions. Without replacing your existing devices or buying a whole new WiFi ecosystem, OneMesh™ helps you create a more flexible network that covers your entire home with TP-Link OneMesh™ products.

This router may not support all the mandatory features as ratified in the IEEE 802.11ax specification. Via such a scenario, which might or might not be comparable to your situation, the screenshot below shows the best possible Internet speeds out of the two.
